Somersault Wine Rack
You can get this for a unique wine storage solution, but with the way you can arrange the individual pieces, taking bottles out could be more like playing Jenga. Pull out the wrong bottle and the whole thing could come crashing down. Shouldn’t a product’s humor potential be more important than it’s usefulness?

Android acquires nonverbal communication skills
As Japan’s population continues to age and shrink, more and more people are looking at robots as a way to improve productivity and support the nation’s changing lifestyles. With human-robot interactions on the rise, and with the recognition that much of human communication is nonverbal, researchers at Japan’s National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT) have developed an autonomous humanoid robot they say can recognize and use body language.

California wildfire damage
Fires raging across California have caused more than $1-billion in property damage and left three people dead, officials said on Wednesday, as a lull in winds allowed firefighters to make their first significant progress in combating the flames.
Around 1700 buildings have been destroyed in the 18 fires that have erupted since Sunday, forcing an estimated 500 000 people to flee their homes and scorching 172 000 hectares of tinder-dry countryside stretching from celebrity-studded Malibu to beyond the Mexican border.
California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger said three people had died and 40 people had been injured in the fires, the worst to hit California since devastating 2003 blazes which claimed 22 lives.

Disk Password Protection v4.8.930.0
Disk Password Protection 4.8: a comprehensive suite of hard-drive protection/access restriction tools. Protect your disk/partitions with a password, ban all reading/writing activity, limit launch of specified files to authorized personnel only, etc. Disk Password Protection 4.8 offers users the option to choose what kind of protection they need. First is the Boot Protection. When chosen, any unauthorized person will not be able to boot a computer without entering the correct password. The program also offers Partition Protection. Any person can chose to have one or several partitions where all confidential information is stored. When protection is activated, the partition will be invisible to the operating system and the disk space taken up by sensitive data will appear as free disk space. The Low-Level Protection option allows users to blocks all attempts to read/write to/from the protected disk. The drive itself will appear as if it were just manufactured and is not formatted to perform any operations. This protection works only for ATA-compatible disks and must be activated in MS-DOS.

Brian the Brain
This is a great idea if you’ve got kids who get bored doing their homework. It’s also a great parent aide (particularly if you get asked those tricky questions like “how high is the sky?” or “when was Cleopatra born?”, or “how do you spell ‘prestidigitation’?”) As Brian has stored within his animatronic brain The Concise Encyclopedia from Britannica®, a dictionary and also a world history timeline, you should be able to ask him virtually anything and he should know.
